I am a Vancouver-based UX & UI Designer with agency experience. My specialties are task-based user flows, high-fidelity wireframes & engaging interface designs.

What I do

  • User Experience & Interaction Design

What is the primary goal of your website? Who is your target audience? These are the first two questions that should be asked at the beginning of any project. As a UX Designer, I create task-based user flows, storyboards, wireframes and interactive prototypes to guide development. Through research of best practices in UX, I am constantly learning and building a deeper understanding of user behavior.

  • Information Architecture

Information Architecture often necessitates considering the end user, and how they will interact with a web experience. I am able to develop conceptual and detailed wireframes (both interactive and static) to present to the client, designers and developers. By accounting for every possible screen and interaction, I ensure that the web experience has been tested before time is spent on design.

  • Design

As a designer, I am constantly striving to create beautiful User Interfaces that are not only creative and original, but also engage the user at first glance. I currently specialize in responsive design and mobile optimization techniques. Designing icons, branding identities, concert posters and brochures are all included in my 7+ years of experience freelancing in design.

  • HTML5 & CSS3

Although development isn't my primary focus, I am able to code in HTML/CSS using best practices. I am also able to edit existing frameworks in Javascript/PHP and implement plugins. When it comes to coding - I believe in working smarter, not harder. My strong understanding of front-end technologies allows me to design interfaces that not only engage the user, but are also realistic to develop.
